As I stood tall, firmly planted atop this high powered corporate lawyer, my stilettos digging into his strong, thick chest, he gasped, "It's so nice being below you. Where I belong, fulfilling my duty as your servant" as his eyes glazed over and he sunk into bliss. After the session he confided in me, saying he'd "watched me for a while but doesn't trust providers who offer domme and FS play" which got me thinking...
Why do so many providers separate their domme and more vanilla personas? One can have multiple ads on Tryst and other advertising platforms so the general advice is to double your personas and make double the income. Why do some renegades choose to use the same persona for both vanilla girlfriend-esque play and domme?
This is advised against because one must know one's audience and what one's audience is seeking in order to sell an experience. Guys who enjoy kinky domme fun are seeking a dominant woman. Some are even turned off if they know a SW has intercourse with her clients. To them, her being unavailable IS the turn on. They don't want you to be sweet and agreeable, but respectful, firm, or some want you to acually shit in their mouths (that's extra) and cause real, physical agony. That's quite different than a more submissive, traditionally vanilla girlfriend-esque experience, right?
Guys who want a vanilla experience sometimes can't comprehend duality and that some of us are natural chameleons who pick up on exactly what a suitor needs in that exact moment. If he needs quiet and submissive, we can give him that (Ok, maybe not the quiet part). If he needs brash and bold, we can also heed this vision. A woman is multifaceted and can be dominant in one scene and submissive in another, having fun the entire time but this is a concept some clients can't wrap their minds around. But most do seem to get it.
My opinion is this separation of domme/vanilla personas may have been more effective a few years ago before the SW world became extremely saturated. Now it actually helps to have a bit of zest, flare, to stand apart from a crown and do something different. I was too burnt out running two brands, while dealing with life stuff and starting a new civ job, that I consolidated everything and have never been happier.
Lots of clients enjoy both: a bit sweet, a bit sassy, always respectful and kind (unless you're more into humiliatrix play). Most of our world is composed of energy that's invisible to the human eye. We emit energy whether we like it or not and others can pick up authenticity
Lack of authenticity is a huge turn off to most people so please, just be yourself.
If they don't like you then they have issues to work through. We shall pray for them and continue being fascinating devils. Amen.
