Sex Workers Will Not Steal Your Deposit.

Certain individuals perpetuate the "myth of the vulnerable client" in order to justify their refusal to treat SW's with the same respect afforded other businesses. Many service providers, from tattoo artists to massage therapists, require a deposit from their clients. It's logical that sex workers would require a deposit considering the ease with which burner VoIP phone numbers can be obtained (and Fantasy/Fake Bookings booked). The high cost of travel expenses for touring providers means almost all of us require deposits from clients before we spend thousands to travel to your city.

Maybe I'm naive, or maybe it simply happens so rarely that it surprises me, but I'm still a little shocked at the "I've had providers disappear with deposits before. Therefore I'm never paying a deposit again" line. I've known all variety and breed of in-person SW in my day and haven't known one who regularly steals deposits. Because it would greatly damage, if not destroy, most SW's businesses to steal deposits.

Let me explain: The website Tryst has a stranglehold on the US in-person SW biz and it's necessary to be on this site in order to make decent money via online bookings. Most providers in the US report Tryst as the main source for their business. Tryst will remove the profile of a SW who is proven to be stealing deposits. Why would a provider ever risk losing their Tryst for a tiny deposit?

I think a lot of clients are under the impression that it's 2015 and we're seeing 10 clients a day so, they ask: Why would we need deposits? The highest number of clients I've seen in a day was 3 (extremely rare). Post-pandemic the SW industry became extremely saturated while less clients seemed to be participating. Prior to this, I could tour any US city and make a bundle... but now? I once visited Philly for two nights and didn't see any clients.

There are too many providers and not enough clients. Because SW's are generally booked more infrequently than in the recent past, deposits and higher rates are now industry standard. Deposits help ensure that clients follow through on their promises. If a client didn't show up for a booking in the past, it wasn't a big deal because someone was always there to take his place. It simply isn't like that today so SW's must find some way to weed out the many Time Wasters who aren't serious about actually showing up to an appointment.

We're also spending quite a bit more on hotel, incall rental and travel costs today when compared to just a few years ago. If clients aren't willing to put some skin in the game then we can't risk visiting their city. So please, just book the provider. Don't wait until the day of and please don't worry about paying a deposit because it doesn't benefit REAL providers to steal.

So do your research. If I were a client, I'd only feel comfortable seeing a provider with reviews, whose social media was active and not generic, whose photos I'd researched to be sure they don't belong to a fetish model named Carrie LaChance. I'd also only book providers who looked like they'd invested some money into their business with recent professional photos. This lessens to chances of getting scammed, in my opinion, but keep it mind that there are tons of great providers without professional photos.

I'd also like to ask: How do you think I'm able to afford all the traveling and photoshoots I do if I'm stealing little deposits? It's nonsensical to assume that all SW's will steal from you. But it's also nonsensical for me to write this because the clients I want to see already understand that professional companions and dommes require that their time be respected.
